How It Begins
First menu: Opt to read some very brief background information on both title characters and why they're trying to kill each other. Another option lets you turn swearing off.
Second menu: Choose which character to play (Jason or Salm), and choose how difficult a game you want.
- If playing as Jason, you begin at the front door of Salm's house. You're wearing a hockey mask and carrying a long blade. You want to kill Salm.
- If playing as Salm, you begin in your closet. You're carrying a revolver. You want to kill Jason.
Notable Features
- "Painted on" scenery. None of the furnishings described in room descriptions is implemented. (Salm's amulet isn't implemented either, even though it's the MacGuffin they're fighting about.)
- Combat. There seems to be no skill or tactics involved here; just find your opponent and kill him before he kills you. When playing as Salm, you must refer to Jason as "Jason Evans" in full.
- Score. After you kill your opponent, you'll be in an out-of-game location where a menu asks you to re-enter your difficulty choice. You are awarded 0 points for a Normal win, 100 points for a Hard win, 500 points for an Extra Hard win, and 1000 points for a Freaking Crazy win.
