The Saugus.net Halloween Ghost Story Contest runs every October. People of all ages are invited to write and submit ghost stories, which are judged in different age categories. Beginning in 2002, entrants were invited to also submit ghost stories in the medium of interactive fiction. Beginning in 2015, the interactive fiction section was expanded to include choice-based entries written in Twine in addition to parser-based entries written in Inform.
2009 Entries
Note: 2009 was the first year that any IF games were submitted to the Saugus.net contest.
