I'd like to create a page for the reviewer C #M (see his IF Comp reviews), but it doesn't work, because of the "#" character. What should I do? --Eriorg 12:34, 10 May 2007 (EST)

  • Well, you'll have to use a substitute name for C #M's page, perhaps "C SharpM" or "C PoundM" or just "C M". (I'll let you decide which you like best. Personally, in this case, I'd go with "C M".) See the Wikipedia page for C#. Add a line at the top of his/her page explaining the page name, e.g.:
This person's actual psuedonym is C #M. The article name can't contain the # sign because of technical restrictions.
Hope that helps. -- David Welbourn 12:17, 11 May 2007 (EST)
