I love creating text adventures, mainly for kids. I am an X DMA Design Ltd Computer Game level designer (Or Game Engineer).

I worked on N64 games : Body Harvest and Silicon Valley. PC Games : GTA2, Tanktics and Wild Metal Country. Dreamcast Game : Wild Metal.

My first Designed and created game was for the C16 Plus 4 (Firstly written in Basic, then a better version in Machine Code). My friend did the programming, I designed it all. It was dsigned to have a sensible or funny answer for just about any logical thing you could type related to your surroundings, which was something that was lacking in most published games of the time! I also hated Mazes in games where you had to drop many of your items in order to get your directions. (Some mazes were so bad they destroyed the fun of text adverturing in my opinion).

I redesigned this game for the Commodore Amiga and eventually I want to polish it for the ADRIFT editor.

I have made a few very simple games for children I teach to see what the ADRIFT editor can handle etc. The funniest thing happened one day when the parents came to class at the end and asked them what they had learned. They said "we managed to flush a jobby (poo) down the toilet!" . . . I had to explain that the children had achieved creation of a simple "task" with sound effects in a text adventure using ADRIFT!

My favourite game that I made in ADRIFT so far is a Little Britain Comedy called "Find Andy" (This is in 2 parts). This is an easy fun game with loads of speach taken from the TV shows (DVD I bought).

Other Adventures I am working on : Father Ted, igor (Finished), Easter Egg Hunt (finished) and Xmas Presents (Finished).
