How It Begins
You are a college student, carrying nothing. You arrive with your twin sister Winnie in your beaten-up coupe.
You are standing on Uncle Foggy's front lawn. Here you see three vehicles (your coupe, a black sedan, and a monster truck), and Foggywood Manor to the north. You remember that to the south, past the gate and hedges and across the road, is a ramshackle cabin, the site of Uncle Foggy's lab. Also here are the Barnevelders from Rhode Island: Uncle Orpington, Aunt Lamona, and your cousin 'Red'.
All of you are here for the reading of Uncle Foggy's will. Uncle Foggy, a known prankster, raised you and Winnie after your parents died. In a moment, Mr. Dorkings, Uncle Foggy's solicitor, opens the front door and you all enter the house. After another short delay in the foyer, Mrs. Faverolles, the cook and extremely angry, bursts out of the study and storms off past your group. Everyone else enters the study and sits down so the reading can proceed.
