Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation

The Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation (IFTF) is a nonprofit whose mission is, according to the initial press release, "to ensure the ongoing maintenance, improvement, preservation, and development of tools and services necessary to the creation and distribution of interactive fiction." IFTF was announced on June 30, 2016.
IFTF hosts NarraScope, a games conference.
