How It Begins

You are Dalamar Nightson, possibly elvish, carrying nothing. You have come to the tower of the great mage Fistandantalus, now a thousand years dead, in search of his book of magic.

Notable Features

  • Poor spelling throughout, e.g.: "There are many butiful tapastrys lineing the walls."
  • Painted-on descriptions. Room and object descriptions don't change when they should.
  • Locations are sparsely furnished or empty. The geography and gameplay is very linear.
  • Winning the game doesn't end the game. You are simply told you have won.

Trivia & Comments

  • The game makes one reference to your elvish eyes, so you must be either elvish or half-elvish. Some backstory is hinted at very vaguely here and there but never explained.
  • There's a wizard named Fistandantilus in the Dragonlance series of books by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis. Presumably, those books were the inspiration for this game.
