Hmm. I'm not sure that "guess the verb" puzzles were designed to be puzzles, but were rather just artifacts of poor coding or the limitations of the machine for which the game was designed (I'd argue the latter in the case of Scott Adam's early works, for instance, not the former). -- Aurora

Well, I guess having this page as an actual index is much nicer than what we had before, but I can't help wondering if it's really needed at all. With all the content moved to other articles, doesn't this page just duplicate Category:Game mechanics, more or less? -- David Welbourn 12:16, 7 September 2006 (EST)

True. This is more or less an orphan page already, as it's not linked to from any other page. IFWiki:To-do_list mentions the idea of creating a "master index of tropes/cliches/problems/idioms/patterns/antipatterns". I'd image these'd ultimately be a series of Category:Glossary articles which further subdivisions, rather than an article like this one. Enh, I dunno. I haven't given it much thought yet. --Mara 11:57, 8 September 2006 (EST)
