itch.io is a website used to both host, sell and download games, assets, and other, as well as host and. It was launched in March 2013 by Leaf Corcoran. As of October 2024, there are over 29,000 games tagged with Interactive Fiction.

The platform allows anyone to create an account and publish their project on the website, and features a pay-what-you-want model for sales (with an optional minimum price). Developers can also set how much revenue percentage the website can take from each sale (with a default of 10%), as well as tiered purchases.
