View source for Talk:How to edit ifwiki

Is this page really necessary, when there's already the [[Help:Editing]] page? (Note: [[How to edit ifwiki]] could still be a redirect to [[Help:Editing]].)

I know that latter page is far from perfect -- it often mentions Wikipedia instead of IFWiki -- but I think it'd be easier to modify it than starting a new help page from scratch.

* I have to agree with you, Eriorg. It would be much better to fix the existing help page than starting from scratch. (Also, it irks me to see 'ifwiki' instead of 'IFWiki' in the title, but that's a minor point.) I don't see that a redirect gains us much; I'd rather just point Ron to the real help page, and then delete this one. I'll edit Main Page slightly so that there's a link from Main Page to Help:Editing too, in case he looked there, didn't see anything, and assumed there was none. -- [[User:Dswxyz|David Welbourn]] 05:48, 11 January 2009 (PST)
