The Infocom Documentation Project is a website that aims to preserve high-quality documentation for legacy games originally published by Infocom, with the permission of Activision, the current owners of the games' copyrights.
From the project's ABOUT page:
With the permission of Activision, Inc., this project strives to recreate the Infocom manuals as close to their original form as possible, providing complete documentation for each game. At the same time, the documents are being created in a special blind-friendly format, containing all the text in a single column.
The website hosts:
- PDF (with text) and plain-text versions of original game documentation;
- original hints (in PRIZM format);
- PDF copies of New Zork Times / The Status Line.
The project managers are Roger J. Long and Gunther Schmidl. See their CREDITS page for the full list of credits. It continues to receive updates as of 2022.
