Douglas Noel Adams was a script writer and novelist best known for his Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy stories. He was also fasinated with information technology, especially hypertext and computer games, and collaborated with Infocom on two text-adventure games. Briefly considered publishing a game with Synapse Software (not true, but it may create a link for me, we'll see).
