Git is an interpreter for the Glulx virtual machine (basically an extended 32-bit version of the Z-machine VM). The interpreter was written by Iain Merrick. It is optimized for speed and hence significantly faster than Glulxe.
It runs under Unix, Windows and PocketPC. The current version (as of September 2010) is 1.2.4.
