Gruescript, developed by Robin Johnson, is "a tool for creating point-and-click text adventures which feel like classic 'puzzlebox' games while eliminating the need for the player to type, making the games friendly to modern devices and players."[1] The Gruescript editor is available in online and offline versions, and creates the game as a playable HTML page.
The public beta of Gruescript was announced at intfiction.org on August 15, 2021.
