Gradual move to "Choice-based"

I've changed this template so that the pages that call it will be put in Category:Choice-based instead of Category:CYOA. There are other references to "CYOA" in the template that you might want to change in due course, but it seemed wise just to change one thing and ensure it works before changing the rest... Thanks! Can we change the text under the icon from "CYOA" to "Choice" (or "Choice-based") too? Is that just a matter of changing Template:CYOAnc, or will that affect other things? Robin Johnson (talk) 08:55, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

You were right about how to change that text. I've just made that change. Basically all the underlying things like template names still have "CYOA" but the reader will see "Choice-based". Jonathan (talk) 10:22, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Great, thanks again. I also made it a new icon that looks a bit more like a modern choice game.

I think it follows that there ought to be and categories too -- the former might need admin help as it will need adding to (almost?) every work that isn't in Choice or Hybrid.
