The SAM Coupé was an 8-bit British home computer of the late 1980s, largely backward-compatible with the Spectrum. It had very limited commercial success and therefore never amassed a large software library.

The SAM Adventure System (1992) by Colin Jordan, published by Axxent Software, was a utility for developing interactive fiction works.

IF games for the SAM include the following:

  • The Famous Five 1: Five on a Treasure Island (1990) by Colin Jordan; published by Enigma Variations.
  • Epicentre by Darren Martin.
  • Zuby Ve Tme (2010) by Michal Wolf.
