This is the talk page for Elements of Interactive Fiction. See How to edit IFWiki to find out about using talk pages, and editing the wiki generally.

Hmm. I'm not sure that "guess the verb" puzzles were designed to be puzzles, but were rather just artifacts of poor coding or the limitations of the machine for which the game was designed (I'd argue the latter in the case of Scott Adam's early works, for instance, not the former). -- Aurora

-- Well, I guess having this page as an actual index is much nicer than what we had before, but I can't help wondering if it's really needed at all. With all the content moved to other articles, doesn't this page just duplicate Category:Game mechanics, more or less? -- David Welbourn 12:16, 7 September 2006 (EST)
