This is an area for organising the development of the IF Wiki, in the spirit of the original Wikipedia Community Portal. (IFWiki runs MediaWiki, the Wikipedia software, but we are not otherwise affiliated).
To Do
These are tasks that we're working on in the wiki:
- Consolidate the IF Cliches, Design Patterns and IF Elements pages - possibly also the pages from the 'Glossary' category? - into a master index of tropes/cliches/problems/idioms/patterns/antipatterns. (suggested by Nate)
Vandalism Alerts
- (We could use this space to describe any instances of vandalism such as the recent one in October and what was reverted).
Categories
IFWiki uses rather a lot of categories to organise pages. Important ones are:
- For IF works, the year, the IF system, the language, and the publisher as categories
- category:Glossary to indicate pages imported from the IF Theory Book glossary
- category:Past raif topics (and subcategories) for links to Google Groups rec.arts.int-fiction threads
