Why this page exists
See http://www.intfiction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18202#p93842 for an explanation of this page. In short, I was trying to come up with a format that would do double-duty, so it could be used both as a record of past competition news (serving a similar function to the Current Events page), and as a source for current competition news on the front page, and be easier to maintain.
