Former commercial

Works of interactive fiction that were (or are) being sold for money. Works that were once sold commercially then later released freely are known as "former commercial" works.

Commercial works are distinct from shareware works; shareware works can be obtained without paying for them, but the user is honor-bound to pay if s/he plays them.
