RAIF-POOL was a supposed new shareware interactive fiction creation system with miraculous capabilities, announced on rec.arts.int-fiction by Jacob Weinstein on April 2, 1996. Advertised features included the ability to read all existing source formats, generate text games from graphical input and vice versa, and generate lifelike NPCs from a one-line description. It was to include the sample work Achilles, "a complete game, roughly four times the size of Jigsaw, [...] based on certain books of the Upinashad [sic]".
