This is the talk page for Wiki Based Dialog System. See How to edit IFWiki to find out about using talk pages, and editing the wiki generally.

I know this dialog system is a bit different from most "traditional" IF dialogs where the player has to actively come up with specific keywords to ask the NPC about. But I think this approach is a good idea because a) it is relatively easy to manage even for non-programmers and b) the in-game dialogs will appear as "natural" as the ones in noninteractive drama/comedy. (check out the great game of StarControl II to experience the funny and dramatic dialogs that can be done with such a dialog system).

Again, new ideas and feedback are very welcome.
