Steampunk
The steampunk genre is characterized by an anachronistic setting based on exaggerated versions of late 19th/early 20th-century era technology such as steam engines, Babbage computers, telegraphy, and zeppelins, sometimes incorporating elements of mysticism or magic. Steampunk works may be set in an alternate history or an entirely original setting. Technologically focused stories in real-world historical settings may also be considered steampunk.
