The First 24 Hours of Inform contest was organized by Kevan Davis. It began at 10am (GMT) on the 27th of February 2002, and finished 24 hours later.
The required theme for the entries, provided by Raven Black, was that:-
"The adventurer must resolve a dispute between two antagonists, in a way which benefits himself (and, optionally, them). The game should include at least two of: a hat, some food, some money. Also, it should be interesting."
