This was a minicomp organized by Lucian P. Smith in 1998. Authors were asked to submit both games plus their source code, so future IF authors could have example code to look at.
The contest officially opened on May 20th, 1998. The submission deadline was June 22nd, 1998.
Premise
A rich relative of yours has left a bizarre will. His entire estate will go to whoever wins his scavenger hunt. Players should be able attempt multiple approaches to winning; the suggested approaches were Egotistical, Cooperative, Altruistic, and Subversive. The full premise is here (archive).
