The Free IF Playoffs (FIFP) 2024 was a light-hearted March-Madness-style tournament between 64 of the then-top-rated, free-to-play works on IFDB. The voters (IntFiction forum members) were expected to have at least tried the works to some extent, and were also encouraged to explain their preferences (in positive terms). The event also included sports-like commentary, statistics, fan predictions, and author interviews. It was organised by otistdog and ran from 8 June through 10 August 2024, with up to 8 matches running concurrently each week.
The overall winner was Counterfeit Monkey.
