Here are some IFWiki projects you can help with.

| Add pages for Adventure ports and translations | Linked with the above project, it would be great if every Adventure port/translation had cross-referenced wiki page (e.g. Adventure: The Interactive Original (NELS0350)). See Adventure Family Tree for details. | |
| Add other ports of Cloak of Darkness | Some ports of this game are not yet on IFWiki. See the CASA external link on the Cloak of Darkness page. | |

| Red links in game infoboxes | Turn the red links blue by adding redirect or content pages, or fixing the field values. See IFWiki:Game infobox fields with red links. | |
| Missing games in series | Some games are listed in Category:Game series templates which have no wiki pages. Turn these red links blue! | |

| Move "Old infobox" dates | When we ran our conversion script, for over 200 of the 4000 games the script couldn't work out to which release the old publication date belonged. We fixed these manually. See IFWiki:Games with old infobox date. | |
| Fix some database values | After the database conversion we need to fix some values (mainly replacing HTML entities with foreign characters, and adding pseudonyms). See IFWiki:Game database values to fix. | |
| New game icons needed | We now have new icons for Ghost, Historical, Time and Wordplay literary genres. See Intfiction forum topic. | |

| Events | Our editors have added every event page on IFWiki to the Events database! At the time of writing (September 2025) that is a total of 650 event pages and 68 event series pages. | |

| Interpreters and utilities | Our editors have added every interpreter page and every utility page to the Software database. At the time of writing (September 2025) there are 141 interpreter pages and 41 utility pages. | |
| Authoring systems | All authoring systems have now been added to the database (November 2025). See IFWiki:Software without infoboxes (archived). | |

| Wanted pages | You can create pages that have not yet been created. Special:Wantedpages is an automatically generated list of pages that have been named in links, but not yet created. Note, some of these may be misspellings, you may want to modify the link in that case, others may be correct alternative spellings/namings or concepts which could be merged, in which case creating a redirect is probably best. Please make sure a page does not exist before you create a new one. | |
| Wanted categories | Special:WantedCategories is an automatically generated list. Most of these are created automatically for games, but they need to be added to their proper place in the category hierarchy. | |

| Broken links | See Replacing dead links. Broken links can be found on the Status of external links page. | |
| Out-of-date pages | If you see information on a wiki page that is out of date, you can update it. A few pages are listed in Category:Pages that need to be updated. To mark a page as needing to be updated, and add it to that category, just use Template:Update needed. | |
