Kent Tessman is best known as the creator of the Hugo interactive fiction authoring system. Also, Kent's nickname on the ifMUD is Hugo.

- Guilty Bastards (1998; Hugo). Finalist for Best NPCs at the XYZZY Awards 1998.
- Future Boy! (2004; Hugo). Exists in both demo and commercial versions. Artist: Derek Lo. Composers: Nate Leguzza, Dan Langan, and Kent Tessman. Was a finalist at the XYZZY Awards 2004 for Best Game, Best Writing, Best Story, Best Setting, Best Puzzles, Best NPCs, Best Individual Puzzle (cracking Eno's computer), Best Individual NPC (Bob Finger), and Best Use of Medium.
