La vallée mystérieuse is a game by Eric Forgeot.
It started as an April's Fool joke on the French forum, where Eric Forgeot claimed that a previously unreleased game from 1981 was found on an old CERN computer (which would have made the game the first known French game). The day after, he released an alpha version in Glulx, featuring images and giving instructions to get the correct font in Gargoyle. A little over a year later, a Vorple release, faithful to the Glulx version, was created.
