M.A.C.

M.A.C. or Mystery Adventure Creator is an authoring system by Paolo Lucchesi. Authors can use its simple scripting language to define their adventure; most of the source code of a M.A.C. game is just a list of definitions.
M.A.C. games can include graphics.
M.A.C. is supported for DOS/Windows and Linux systems.
M.A.C. is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
