The Neo-Twiny Jam was an unranked jam organised by Autumn Chen and manonamora, which lasted the whole month of June, 2023. The game jam was a commemoration of Porpentine's Twiny Jam, where creators were limited to making Twine games with less than 300 words.

Rules and Constraints

  • Entries were limited to 500 words total.
    • Sound/graphics/code did not count towards the word limit.
    • Participants could submit up to 3 entries, which should each be under the 500-word limit.
  • Entries were not restricted to Twine only, unlike the original jam.
  • Entries had to be considered Interactive Fiction (i.e. the game is interactive, and its focus is on the text).
  • Entries could be written in any language, as long as the word count was respected in that language.
  • Entries could be NSFW, as long as it was indicated in the submissions.
  • Spam and hateful content were removed.
