This interactive fiction game jam was started by Adrien Saurat in 2016, inspired by the Twiny Jam, created by Porpentine in 2015. While the latter accepted Twine games with 300 or less, the Partim500 accepts all IF program and increased the word limit to 500 (French being a bit more wordy than English). Entrants have two weeks at the end of December to create and submit a game.
Each year, the game jam is centred around a theme, with the word starting with dé-.
