The twenty-fifth Speed-IF was on May 27, 2001 and organized by Duncan Cross.
Premise
You have two hours to write a game based on the production of the movie version of any work of IF. It must include a magic 8-ball, the death of an NPC, and a detached ampersand. Bonus points for featuring use of the phrase "PAK CHOOIE" by a robot, "PON" as the sound of a bubble bursting, a hair-related puzzle, a dedication to a type of pasta or shoe, an unusual candle, and use of tertiary compass directions, such as northnorthwest.
