The eighth Spring Thing was planned for the spring of 2010 and was organized by Greg Boettcher.
Unfortunately, it was announced on April 8, 2010 that although several people submitted intents to enter, none of those people submitted a game before the deadline. So there are no games for Spring Thing 2010.
Dates
These deadlines were at noon, Eastern US Time.
- November 5, 2009: Spring Thing 2010 was announced.
- March 1, 2010: Deadline for authors' intents to enter.
- April 8, 2010: Deadline by which authors' entry fees must be received by the organizer.
- April 8, 2010: Deadline by which authors' games and walkthroughs must be received by the organizer.
- April 8 or April 9, 2010: Games were to be released, voting was to start, and the end of the voting period was to be announced.
