StupidTitleComp was a minicomp organized by Greg Boettcher. First, entrants entered stupid titles of fictitious IF games; later, the IF Community was asked to vote on how stupid they were. The voting deadline was Sunday, March 13th, 2005, 11:59pm. The winning stupid title by Jacqueline H. was: You Get Transported To Another Dimension and Find This Weird Machine In A Maze And Then Some Other Stuff Happens, It's Really Cool.

- The runner-up title, Conan Kill Everything, is now an actual Z-code game by Ian Haberkorn. Released 13-Apr-2005.
Premise
As a way of testing the Spring Thing's new voting form, I am announcing the StupidTitleComp. Please send me the dumbest title you can think of for an IF game.
There are only three rules: 1. No more than one title per entrant. 2. No titles longer than 50 words. 3. Titles are to be judged based on how stupid they are.

Hurry, because the deadline is rapidly approaching. I must receive your titles by this Friday evening, March 4, at 11:59 PM EST.
Titles will be judged by all who wish to vote. The voting period will begin sometime on Saturday, March 5, and go until the evening of Sunday, March 13, at 11:59 PM EST. Stay tuned to this newsgroup for instructions on how to vote.
The only prize is the satisfaction of knowing how stupid you can be.
