Well, now the IF Cover Art Drive has ended, so the feature article should be replaced -- but I don't know by what... --Eriorg 18:07, 1 May 2008 (PDT)
- Yeah, I know... I'll try to think of something. -- David Welbourn 08:18, 2 May 2008 (PDT)
- How about a Game of the Day or New Game(s) segment on the front page?
A list of good/interesting IF links (famous web pages, etc.)? --User:DavidFisher
Pick a year out of the past 15 and feature the best-reviewed game from it, per IFDB's ratings? --Aaronius 14:42, 19 May 2008 (PDT)
These are all interesting suggestions, but not really quite what I was looking for. IFDB is just fine for promoting games, and I'm quite willing to let people go to IFDB if that's what they want. They do it better than we do, after all. But what I really wanted to know is which articles that already exist on IFWiki were worth promoting. Perhaps there really aren't too many as yet. And I'm a bit leery of picking out any one game for especial attention. IFWiki can be so much more than just another games guide. Nor do I particularly want to give myself more work than I've already taken on. :)
So. We'll try something new. I will replace the Feature article with "Unfeatured Articles", and promote missing or stub pages that need more info. Try to beef up the wiki a bit more, eh? Then, maybe, we can try again to feature the best pages. -- David Welbourn 21:19, 19 May 2008 (PDT)
