InsideADRIFT Awards 2009 Best New Idea

The Even Competition (a.k.a. EvenComp) is a competition for ADRIFT games organized by Abbi Park.

Premise

The basic rule for this competition was to pair up each one of these numbers: 2, 4, 8, 12, and 14, with one of these: rooms, objects, tasks, events, and characters, and have and use exactly the particular numbers the author chose of each in the game; no more, no less.

Dates

• Submission deadline: December 10, 2009.
• Voting deadline: January 10, 2010 (or once the poll reaches 10 votes, whichever comes last).
• Results were announced on February 22, 2010, after the poll had enough votes.

Games

Three games were released on December 15, 2009:

1. Attack of the Mutaydid Meat Monsters (Duncan Bowsman).
2. Bringing the Rain (Lumin).
3. Perspectives (Justahack).
