The Best Use of Multimedia award honors the best uses of multimedia either as part of or supplemental to a work of interactive fiction released in the given year. Examples of multimedia usage include a website, cover art, a manual, feelies, a movie trailer, and so on.
This award was originally called Best Supplemental Materials and was introduced for XYZZY Awards 2010. It was renamed to Best Use of Multimedia for XYZZY Awards 2014.
