The Golden Banana of Discord is a special prize awarded to the IF Comp entry whose scores have the highest standard deviation.
There have been two Golden Bananas. The first was created by Andrew Plotkin and donated in 2000. The second was created by Daphne Brinkerhoff and Greg Boettcher, and donated in 2005.
