How It Begins
The game opens with a short cut-scene describing how you wake up in your hotel room, at first wondering where you are, and soon realising you have no idea who you are either. The game then says:-
Hotel Room What's a person to do in this situation? What YOU do is...
This is followed by the first command prompt. Your first task is to find some clothes, while the long term objective is, of course, to recover your memory.
