Floyd is an NPC in the Infocom game Planetfall, a lovable yet childlike robot which follows the player for a majority of the game, providing companionship and comic relief. He likes to play paddleball and draw on walls with a blue crayon. His memorable lines and personality, the product of author Steve Meretzky, have branded him one of the classic characters of interactive fiction. He also appeared in the sequel Stationfall.
