Choice-based

A "choose your own adventure" game refers to an interactive story where the player chooses interactions from a given list of choices, instead of typing commands at a prompt as is more common in parser-driven IF.

This page is not an attempt to be a comprehensive list of CYOA works (such a list would have thousands of entries!) but is rather an index to works of this sort that exist on ifwiki, perhaps because the work:

• is listed in the IF Archive
• was an entry in an IF competition
• was written in an IF authoring system
• was written by an author who has also authored non-CYOA IF
• is noteworthy for any other reason to members of the IF community
